Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 is the eighth installment of the PES saga, developed by Konami. This title includes some improvements regarding the previous version, such as graphics and gameplay issues. You will be able to play matches with your favorite soccer team against others from many leagues around the world. Among the new features you will find in this game, there is the exclusive license of the competition UEFA Champions League.
It has many licenses about national teams and clubs. This provides this videogame with more realism. The national teams with license in Europe are 32, in Africa 8, in America 12, in Asia and Oceania 8. The leagues with license are: Premier League, Ligue 1, Serie A, Eredivisie, Liga BBVA and as previous mentioned, the exclusive rights of the UEFA Champions League.

Enjoy all its game modes

There are many game modes you can play in this PES installment. In the Match mode, choose two teams to play a friendly match or a penalties match. In the Master League mode you can play with your self-made team against the computer and managing all its characteristics such as players and social support. In the League mode you can play any of the available leagues, for instance, the Premier league, La Liga, Ligue 1, Serie A and Eredivisie. Besides, the Cup mode makes you will have the possibility of playing in the Europe Cup, Africa Cup, America Cup, Asia and Oceania Cup, International Cup and Konami Cup.
Become a legend is the most played mode and the brand new mode in the PES saga. Here you can create a player from the beginning of his career until his retirement. You will be able to create him from scratch, customizing his appearance, choosing his name or sizes among others. You can put your face on him if you upload you JPEG photo, and also you are free to choose the way he celebrates his goals. In addition, you can guide him through various clubs and maybe get a spot in the national team. When playing this mode, the camera is focused on your player and the rest of players are controlled by the AI.
